LASER SHOW

The concept for the Laser Show came about when Vice Media approached Peaches to participate in a collaborative project with them that would make use of their art and technology platform The Creators Project.

Vice supplied Peaches with the resources for her to envision and execute whatever she wanted – financially supporting her development of three laser harps for live shows. Each of these was comprised of eight lasers, the beams of which could be played and manipulated individually. In live performances, Peaches and Berlin-based band Sweet Machine used the three laser harps as midi controllers, making it possible to perform the songs live solely on lasers.

The Laser Show has had outings at the Berlin Festival (2010), Art Basel in Miami Beach (2010) and the Toronto International Film Festival (2012).
